Ok.
Tunings which features strings tuned within a half-step of the following string are basically impossible to play (at this point in my career though).
So, I’ll leave this tuning as a milestone. Maybe I’ll get back to it eventually…
EBCGAD

This tuning is from the bowels of my mind. There doesn’t seem to be anyone using this tuning (although I’ve used EBAGAD and EBDGAD in this blog earlier). Another first!

BAGDAD – a tuning for our american “friends”
26 décembre 2006
I thought I should do something a little bit tongue-in-cheek and this tuning is just that…
At first, the melody is played on top of a 9-shape chord and then I modulate and fall in a modal version of the same melody, played à la Wes Montgomery (with octaves), in the DAD section of the neck. Hope this makes sense…

Alternate tuning web search

Google launched a few months ago a new feature allowing the construction of specialized search engines. That gave me the idea to launch an alternate tuning search engine.
Here’s the link for the search engine, titled Alternate tuning web search.
