- Low quality Stratocaster clone of asian origin (El Degas) fitted with a Lutherie MF custom-made neck. Why put a high quality neck on a low quality guitar? For sentimental reasons, that’s why. The guitar is fitted, from neck to bridge, with the following pickups: a Torres Engineering BLUES STRAT, a Dimarzio HS-2 and a Dimarzio BLUESBUCKER.

- Epiphone Sheraton fitted with WCR Fillmore pickups and an Epiphone EZ-Bender b-bender.

- A home-made Telecaster assembled from genuine Fender parts bought mostly on eBay. The guitar is equipped, from neck to bridge, with the following pickups: a Lollar CHARLIE CHRISTIAN and a Lollar SPECIAL T SERIES. The guitar has been retrofitted with a Parsons-White stringbender by Gene Parsons.

- The “barncaster”. Another home-made Telecaster being assembled. I presently have the body (below, made from the wood of a Montana barn), the control plate and the pickup (a Dearmond 210 acoustic guitar pickup that will be fitted in the neck position; I know, weird experiment). The bridge pickup will be a Seymour Duncan BG-1400 Lead Stack.

- The Blueridge BR-160, which seems destined to become a modern classic if one is to believe the Harmony Central reviews. I’ve equipped mine with a LR Baggs M1 pickup.

- A 12-string acoustic-electric Washburn Woodstock as played by Jimmy Page on the song NO QUARTER, on the DVD NO QUARTER.

Dulcimer made by luthier Al (?) John in 1976, numbered #1. The dulcimer, according to the seller, was made in the US in Florida. I haven’t been able to trace back any information on the web about this particular luthier.

- Washburn mandolin. Not the newer stuff but something approximately 100 years old. Mainly decorative.

Hello David,
I don’t know much about it. I made some research a while ago but didn’t find much about it except that it was probably made in the late 50s and that the stickers are not original.

The diamond pickguard guitar was made by Kay. I have a yellow Kay with green guard. I believe the Kay model number may be 6891

That’s quite a collection you have there! I would say my favorite among those is the Sheraton. Very beautiful! They all look like they’ve seen a lot of good experience.
